Tapir - Better Search for Static Websites

As I'm transitioning my blog from the really terrific staticDimension

[1] to Jekyll I have been in the market for a solid search tool. Google's Custom Search is the first option that springs to mind but I am less than impressed with its lack of customizablility and offsite search results. Tapir may be the replacement I have been searching for, so I will keep a close watch on this project.
